As usual, Yeastman's site and Grifter's mtm.naz.com are no loads as well. Darn, I miss those too.

Well, you could run as many cars as you wanted if you didn't mind making "Top Crush" models that were actually two and three cars together.

I agree on most parts Cale. I've always been an advocate of vertice managment. Even when my computer could run mtm2 at 25fps with 8 fiberglass trucks racing ...

Those are NOT old... hell, we were well into 99' when viper (there were many 'viper's, but the one I'm talking about has vanished) made the first mtm2 tube frame and silently posted it on the Scrapyard. I was daydreaming in sophmore Algebra when I started thinking about Jim Klasnowzky? What was his ...

Holy crap I had the demos of both those games and played the crap out of them. Awesome! I remember we yanked the Supra in Yeastman's Cape Hatteras track from the Indycar demo.

Yea Torture Pit didn't make it's intro until the final beta release. I'm still searching hard drive's, but don't get any hopes up. If an 850 meg hard drive dated 1/10/00 doesn't have it, then I don't have it anymore. I remember it was about 62 1.11 meg .rar files if anyone comes across it.

Again ...

Hey I don't know where you're at but here in Beaumont we just got power yesterday. Just kidding. We got it around the 20th of September, although internet wasn't fully restored until two weeks ago. Cities along the gulf are heavily devastated. Of course, you wouldn't know it watching CNN, there was ...

As many mtm2 beta's that floated around ICQ prior to the retail release, someone still has it. I *might* even have it on one of my hard drives sitting in my closet, no promises though.

The mtm2 beta sucked anyway. Crappy lighting, bland tracks, other than pure nostalga (sp, I know) It wouldn't be ...

Back in the day the computer trucks followed their paths on my RCA Jam track, but now these days with everyone running mtm2 on max graphics, they just hit the hill and flip. Still kicking around the idea of a 2.0, as much as I hate sequels, I went through the other night and tweaked the course so ...

I still have my old beta of 4x4 Evo 2 and it's time locked, won't run past a certain date. Although I haven't tried telling my bios it's a different date.

Great finds, I've always enjoyed MTM1. As cheesy as the graphics were, the tracks had way more personality to them.

I could be wrong but I doubt the Metal Crush beta will ever see the light of day, I'm sure Microsoft would have a problem with it's release.

Cale you're probably right, I'd like to base it off my 'hometown' airport, IAH, but it's sheer size may prove a challenge. Just laying the runways out in Traxx is taking days... but I"m only giving it a few minutes a day, I still work 40 hours+ a week too...

We shall see.. I might wind up just ...
