Thanks, I'll look into it!Cale wrote:You need to have some form of profile software to assign axes to your controller. I use a Logitech gamepad and have a profile for CPR that also works with MTM2.

PlayStation controller?
I have Windows 8.1 Pro. I have a PS3 controller hooked up using SCPDriver. Windows believes it's a Xbox 360 controller. That's good. It works in all of my games. When I set it to Joystick or Gamepad on MTM2, the left analog stick is used for steering AND throttle. Has anybody reassigned Acceleration ...

Re: I can't install MTM2 on Win8.1
Okay that's weird. 60FPS using nGlide and 3Dfx out of nowhere. I have no problems running now. What the f***.

3dfx mode is oddly CPU dependent.
From the web:
Windows 8.1 doesn't properly support DirectDraw, which breaks a lot of old games.
You can apparently enable it though with a registry edit.

Re: I can't install MTM2 on Win8.1
It's a Dell Latitude E6410. It has a nVidia Quadro NVS 3100m. No integrated. So... a POS. I can run Battlefield 2 on 60 FPS all high settings, Battlefield 3 at low everything at 29 FPS. Quake Live at 80FPS, Quake III at 120FPS, Trackmania at Medium for 40-ish FPS. MTM2 gets 23 FPS on nGlide. Haven't ...

Re: I can't install MTM2
I'm only getting 23fps with nGlide and settings maxxed out except for the two I was told to disable. Here goes some more troubleshooting.

Need help finding a truck
This is a long shot. I remember as a kid, anytime I would get a strike, my dad would let me download a monster truck or track for the game. This was when there were only 1 or 2 downloads allowed per day. There was a "Twisted Digger" or something along the lines of that, where the rear wheelbase was ...

I can't install MTM2 on Win8.1
Hey guys, I've been playing this game ever since it came out. I quit around 2003, when I turned 8. I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit. I have used multiple MTM2 downloads to try and install it, but it won't work. I set Compatibility mode to XP SP2, run it as admin, it gets to 100%, then freezes up ...
