I was catching up in the beta section today (never know what you are going to learn in there), and came across this little gem of a track. I read the beta comments so I was prepared for a steep learning curve and a frustration, Whoa! was I pleasantly surprised.

It takes some getting used to, but once you get that kind of control, it;s hard to go back to a regular stick or keyboard.

Without a joystick it's going to be tough. I would go to game/options/ and use the pull down to set auto brake If I were you.
