I left a message on the Alleg forums asking them about getting the code for the game. The responses were not what I had hoped for. It was the developers working on the game that got MS to release the code. Why? Because they saw how much the players wanted to keep the game alive.

Well, I got another problem.

First, for some reason zone is being friendly to me again. No "no one can see me chat in lobby" or see chat from lobby. And no I did not turn off chat. No one was able to help me and the problem has gone away...for good I hope.

This new problem is with one of SLO ...

Here I am, sitting in the Nitro and Tourny rooms at 10.30pm EST and no one can see my messages in lobby. Asked for help from a 'plus" and he/she just fooling around with me.

Guess my problems with the Zone still remain. But hey at least it will let me log in with same account.

Thanx Phin but I finally got an account now before reading that message. It wasnt a firewall issue, i think. If it were I wouldnt be able to play Allegiance and that requires the DX ports to be opened/forwarded.

I remember getting email to verify the accounts and clicking on the link to confirm. Its just that when I try to return, like a day later, it gives me the problem.

Well I have been on DSL late July '04 and still cannot keep an account with the Zone. I have tried to create accounts but the Zone just wont acknowledge the email or password.

Now Allegiance, a game that uses .NET accounts, works for me. But then again its not a part of Microsoft Zone.

Mine works, Fomula GP, (not feedback). Dont even use the profiler, dont need to. Dunno why it works. I do remember it didnt for about 5mins. But after I cussed at it a few minutes and threaten it with a 16 pound sledge hammer it work! Go figure!

I dont do backups. I usally forget where I put the backups. Only thing I do is save updates of programs on CDs. Have all the bookmarks, emails addys written down on paper.
