But in all honesty why does it really matter?, its a game, you put it out there for people to do what they please. If i made a truck from scratch and someone repainted it and said it was theres, well i wouldnt care i would be flattered that someone liked my truck enough to make there own version of ...

There's a thing called "public-domain" I THINK (remeber that, I THINK) that is kinda "illegal" ask for remove the truck ""Avenger Realism" from the web, cuz YOUR truck was not copyrighted.

By no means is it "illegal" for Kiel to ask for removal of the truck. That's about as absurd as saying ...

A few reasons why no one will attempt something like that.

1. Too much work.
2. You'd overload the game with that many things in one pod.
3. The file would be extremely too large to even think of uploading anywhere.

Another typical dragger... Wanting everybody else to do the work for them...

If they want to make it so games cant be copied ot installed on more then one PC, they should use disks that get marked by the systems MOBO so that it can only ever be reinstalled on that system.

So you're proposing a system that you'll need to purchase the game everytime you buy a new computer?

The good thing about mtm track making is there's no deadlines.

There are when there's an expo, but we haven't seen one of those in three years... *ahem*

is just one more reason the zone should not close the mtm2 game rooms.

Phin, I don't know how much you do or don't know about this, but the plans, according to that link, are to close the Zone entirely, not just the MTM2 rooms. We live in an age where corporations will do just about anything ...

It's funny how everyone responds to a request for help with "I don't know how to..." To me, this does say you don't know how, but it also says you are unwilling to learn. Believe me, it's not that hard. I was intimidated at first too, but I didn't want to have to rely on mooching off everyone else ...

No solutions really. Just the way the game is.

The reason you're seeing Bear Foot as everyone else's vehicle is that is your current default vehicle. If you were to place another vehicle above "truck2.pod" in your "pod.ini," your would see everyone now driving that vehicle.

As for your second ...

I will get rid of the course segment idea, too, so now it's just a series of course "points," where the opponents head for one and then head for the next one and so on.

I believe TRI used the same concept you're planning on. The course "segements" were only there to show the direction and ...

Two things I have to bring up.

Where are the upper four-link bars, and are you copying MTM2 in using the same model and direction for the axles housings, or could a more realistic housing be implemented?

Well, what it looks like he's doing here is following a trait of 1NSANE in which the shocks and suspension links were modelled as part of the main vehicle model, and via the invisible skeleton, parameters are set that they act accordingly. I cannot speak on behalf of Mat, but I would say yes if this ...

just my opinion, but a red diamond plate would look better on the ramps. The caution stripes get washed out by the striping on the floor.

Couple suggestions:

The frame links look a bit thin. Anyway you could beef those up a bit?

Also, the rear shock is mounted too low.

This may be putting the cart in front of the horse, but are to things I figured I'd point out.
