I just started using Traxx and when I try to open my track in MTM I get an error message stating that it "could not open sky.act". I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I did select a backdrop.

Also, sometimes my tracks don't even show up in the game. I'm wondering if there's a limit to how many you can have in the little drop down menu. I downloaded the three additional ones (Crazier 8, Snowy Canyon, Sierra Run)and I'm thinking that has something to do with it? THanks for any help.

Traxx defaults to mtm2 tracks. If you want to make an mtm1 track, you have to go on the menu > File > New (MTM1). If you do that, you should be okay then.

I think the mtm1 limit is 30 Pod files. I think you can have more tracks if you merge them. Do not merge for mtm2.

Thanks for the help. I started a new one for MTM1 and had it ready to go, but my tracks aren't being recognized in the circuit or rally menus. How do I get it listed in there? I put it in the system folder where it belongs but still no luck. I reinstalled the game and removed the three addon tracks but still nothing.

If you are using the installers to put in the addon tracks then maybe you might like to try a mounting program instead. There are a couple good ones. Podit and Cowpod

If you're not certain on pod mounting basics, then check this link.

That's for mtm2, but the same principles apply to mtm1.
