Can't be done like that. Well, not exactly anyway. A bin is the model file. It is the truck that you see in the game. A trk file is how you let the game know what model to use, and what tires, and what lights, and stuff like that. If you use winpod and extract everything from the stock truck.pod (the game file that contains all the trucks (bins and trks) you'll see all the models and trk files. I suggest you do mdmre's repaint tutorial. You'll soon see how this stuff works. It's not hard at all.

Trucks are composed of 3 parts..

.BIN file .........a 3D model

.RAW/.ACT files....the "paint" of the truck

.TRK file..........a text file with discriptions of the truck (i.e....truck-name,positions of wheels, axles, axle-bars and lights, contact points (bump dimensions),info on what truck/wheel models to use of the truck, etc...

Actually i have been pondering how hard it would be to make it so binedit could open a trk file and show all the parts where they go (like it does now) and let u move the wheels where you want to and save trk file accordingly.

Any thoughts Mal?
