When creating models for use in mtm2 we all know the importance of using the shiney face type on trucks but it is also important to use the proper face types to get the best display results for static model props as well.
For the image below I took three identical models and adjusted their face types in BinEdit accordingly, as noted in the image.
As you can see round or curved models are best suited for the shiney face type as the game treats them differently by blending the face transitions giving a more realistic smooth appearance. Normal MTM face type is best suited to flat or cube shaped models since the game gives them a much better light reflected surface which in turn allows for more texture detail to be displayed.

Remember that you can mix and match face types in different area's on the same model to produce the optimal game display.
