I have a huge list of monster truck names (actually not that huge) that I made from commentary, so I figured I'd make a truck.

Wildfoot Payday
Monster Truck Hoozit
Slippin' and Mokin' the Tires
GranStan
etc.

I'm gonna use Hoozit.

Here's a pic:

This sounds like a truck post, but since it's a truck BODY in progress, I used the BINEdit forum.

I just finished a fully three-dimensional grill, but I might scrap it because it has to be curved.

Your input please.

Look how Angus bends a bar. You can do curves and they're not that hard to do.

All rightey. I just bent the grill just enough to look good.
I wondered where that page went.

Do you like my name, Monster Truck Hoozit?

looking forward to seeing what the truck body will look like. The name is fine. I like...

I too have a collection of commentary names for trucks from the "Army Armstrong collection"....That where I got the names for my trucks called STUMPJUMPER, KICKIN UP MUD, SIC 'EM, READY OR NOT, UNSTOPPABLE, ONE WILD RIDE, NO MERCY, LOOKOUT BELOW, GONE FISHIN' and 4 BIG WHEELS. I still have 52 names/wav files left for future projects.

No Mercy was the last project I did where I used an Army-A wav file:

I certainly hope so. I will also include an engine, exhaust pipes, a frame, etc. :P

I got just the engine for that beast too, if you're interested...

I think I'll post this in my Scrap "wheel" yard on my site.

Aw, man, I'm real sorry, but I already set up the engine, exhausts, radiator, and transfer box! Maybe a bit later.

Looking good bro, but I suspect you will see some color transitions between colors and shades in the game. That's normal for MTM2.

I say so because it happened to me when I made a 3-wheeler long ago with similar faded-in colors down the sides. your truck should still look good even then (mine did).

When you send me the truck for it's frame installation, send ALL the parts too, so I can fit them all together properly (or pod the truck first if that would be an easier way for you to collect all the models and textures in one group). Put them all in a ZIP file please, for easier handling.

..And don't wait too long, as I will be out of town from Tuesday the 14th through Sunday the 19th. If you don't think it will be ready before Tuesday, I can do the frame after I get back.

Keep up the good work!

The finished truck came out at 2203 vertices....not low enough for many tourneys, but still works well in mtm2.
