A couple of questions about making trucks

I have a couple of questions about making trucks for MTM2

1.Is there a way to make the trucks hover in the air my a couple of meters like a helicopter?how.
2.Is there a way to give a monster truck more than 4 wheels?how.
4.If making more than wheels 4 wheels on a MTM2 truck is possible is there a way to insert more than two axles under the truck?
3.Is it possible for MTM2 trucks to use Animated BIN models?how
4.is there a way to make MTM2 trucks look like the trucks in MTM1 without any BIN editing?
5.Is there any programs that convert NFS4 cars into MTM2 monster trucks?
(the opposite of the MTM2NFS program)
6.Where are some places with Lots of BIN models for use on trucks?

Please Post or email me with the anwsers to these questions

I don't have all the answers, but I can probably start the ball rolling.

1.Is there a way to make the trucks hover in the air by a couple of meters like a helicopter?how.

A driveable truck? You can translate the body upward in binedit but unless the wheels are on the ground it will be next to impossible to drive. See here for a recent discussion.

If you dont need wheels you can make small invisible bins and assign those in place of the wheels. Same for the axles. but the shocks are harder to get rid of.

Remember to keep the wheel numbering system (08,10,16) in place or you'll get problems.

2.Is there a way to give a monster truck more than 4 wheels?how.

Yes and no. Yes, more wheels can be added as part of the bin. Yes, you can add wheels side by side so the truck looks like it has multiple wheels on each corner. But this is binediting too. No, you cannot add more than four real driving wheels - that I know of.

4.If making more than wheels 4 wheels on a MTM2 truck is possible is there a way to insert more than two axles under the truck?

Yes, if you merge them into a single bin.

You could also make animated bins for wheels, but of course, they'd spin at a constant rate regardless of whether the truck is moving or not.

3.Is it possible for MTM2 trucks to use Animated BIN models?how

Yes, same as any other bin. Animated textures and animated bins will work.

4.is there a way to make MTM2 trucks look like the trucks in MTM1 without any BIN editing?

Sure, use mtm1 trucks. You could also call the truck body into binedit, select all faces, and goto Groups>set group face type and pick the normal mtm1 face type instead of shiny. Deselect all faces and save.

5.Is there any programs that convert NFS4 cars into MTM2 monster trucks?
(the opposite of the MTM2NFS program)

none that I know.

6.Where are some places with Lots of BIN models for use on trucks?

Cobra911

HSC

Used to be some at King Daves

Toxin's Wasteland

Vega's place

GK Castle but that's probably moved now

Sleeper's place

I'm working from bookmarks so bear with me if some don't work. You can always try the links page here or at Nicky's

Lastly, there's Baddy's unnamed site

Just got to shop around.
