Right one small question here- how do you make a track and put a truck in the package?
I thought I saw a program for it @ KC's but it's gone so I can't include a 'Mario Team Official Truck' with 'Super Marioland'!
Where can I get the program and why have some programs gone from KC's?

The utility is called Podmate and is available right here:

Yes, but you don't need any programs other than WinPod.

Open the lst file for your truck and copy the entire contents. Paste them into the lst file for your track. Rebuild the track (using WinPod, not Traxx) and the truck will be included.

OK just a wild guess here, I havent tried it with winpod, this is just logic thinking.

Adding an lst file would only work if all the textures and bins are also addded to the pod..., this is of course no problem when your dealing with a different track in the same landscape, but in any ather case it can get risky. (even if your using stock stuff that not everybody has podded all the time)

In case of ading a truck you also have to add all the files needed for the truck, like bins and textures etc...

why go to all that trouble if there's a perfect solution like podmate that does all that automaticly.....

Well, the lst file for the truck will add all the files for the truck, just like a track lst adds them all for the track.

I've never used the program, so I don't know how it works, but all you have to do is:
open truck lst - select all - copy
open track lst - paste - save
open winpod - build new POD.

Tada

Andy, try podmate. It's handy dandy and easy and will even eliminate duplicate files. Your way is fine, no problems at all, but PodMate is incredibly simple.
