I was wondering that myself. Message #1, written July 23, 2001 by SolarDog, linked twice. Yep, that's a nice, good-workin' board.

I had a feeling a little earlier today that it was gonna go down when I noticed the top 2 posts were just blank pages. Team NKA's board is also down which is the same host so I guess its a sytem wide thing and not just a hack job at the MTM board.

I noticed it last night. After seeing the top 2 posts were comming up blank white pages & a cross post message as well I went to the admin page. When I make changes there I'll use the sort by message number feature and thats when I spotted something odd. The message numbers were around 55203 or something then it lised 5, 4, ,3,2,1.

Just figured that we hit he max number or something so I left it be. No idea whats going on now.

Was/is wwwboard part of NBCI?

That's a good question. And btw, the two back up boards are gone too.

Yep, that would be them. Funny thing is that all pages return something. I mean, there's none of this '404 page not found' or '403 no permissioin' or even 'unable to find dns server'. The server is there, it's just not running the scripts or pages. I have an old e-mail from them, I think I'll send a note and see if it's received.

edit. welp, the e-mail went through. Now, just have to wait and see if there's a reply.

If you go here:

http://wwwboard.net/create.html

hit the links at the bottom of the page and you'll see that most of their site is up except for the home page. Phineus, check out the contact link..is that the same address you have?

Yes, that's the one I sent to. I've gotten replies from them before. It's interesting that that page is there, tho, isn't it. Most things seem functional; it's just the bbs doesn't come up.

I know all of you are pretty peeved about the main board and the cracks will flow about the company and all but you do have to admit that the main bbs is/was the longest ever bbs for MTM or MTM2. the company that provided the FREE bbs had 0 complaints and was allways upmost helpfull when the board had problems. in closing, that was / is the best board that was made for MTM2 in my opinion.
Thanks
GX©

No argument; it's served us well. In the meantime, until it's back up, angus has opened an ezboard for us.

http://pub86.ezboard.com/bnewmtmboard

I've sent him some links to customize it like the main.

Howdy folks. The old board was very speedy, reliable and got the job done well, despite it's flaws. I'd certainly welcome it's return.

Speaking of boards, here's another MTM related board that's gaining visitors: http://roadrage.sports-gaming.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi

Whoever has the keys to mtmbbs.cjb.net should update the forwarding link, to anything! Lots of websites use that url to link to the "main".
