My day of frustration at well... thick people.

I ask for one game of CNR and instead I get:
'Where do I get ZooN Kitchen?'
Fair enough, so I tell him where to get it then...
'How do I put the track in the game?'
Again I explain...
'I don't have a POD.INI file!!!'
I reply 'Yes you do. Look!'
'Launch! Launch!'
'No, you haven't put the track into the game'
'I don't have the file'
!!!

Next,
'Hey'
'Hey'
'Launch!'
'Do you have ZooN Kitchen?'
'What?'
'Do you have ZooN Kitchen?'
'I think so'
'Ok'... So I launch
[Driver X Does Not Have The Track...]
!!!

Next,
'What's CNR?'
'Cops and Robbers' I explain the rules
'Let's Go'
'Ok' So I Launch
(In the in-game chat) 'Cops and Robbers sounds boring. Let's race instead'
'Surely you read the room description and I explained it to you?'
[Driver X Has Left The Game]

Why is it so difficult to get a good game? If people don't want to do what the room says, they should make their own room.

Well get used to it if u are going to do like that on the zone without the people you know.
Unless u know them (not necessarly u know him good, just u raced with him occazionally and you know he can be trusted if he says his doing CNR) u are certainly going to have this happening.

Unfortunately I haven't raced on the Zone for so long that most of my old racing buddies are gone Image and finding new people to race with is rather um (see above)

Ha bud, There are plenty of good peeps who are racers out there. Unfortunatly they seem to be in a minority at the moment. As in most things, you have to go through a lot of rocks before you find the gold.

I'll be only to happy to run with ya... :) Keep an eye out, i'm usually on several times a week.

Ditto - if you d/l the SLO APL http://teamslo.com
we're always running something. Now...if you're really serious about racing, and you plan to be on a lot, we have 2 other track list that we run, totaling about 150 in all! So yeah, there's racing out there, that's for sure.
Hehe we just finished a 4.5 hour session and it was a blast. Got The Fast Lane going on tomorrow - http://teamslo.com/fastlane.htm

Get the tracks and come join in!
