I don't know of any servers that offer more than 20MB without major popups.

http://www.geocities.com

GeoCities is popular and offers 15MB of space, which is good for about ten or fifteen tracks, or about twenty drag tracks. Their adverts are limited to a minimisable ad integrated to the top-right of the page.

http://www.angelfire.com

Angelfire is also somewhat popular, and I believe they offer 20MB of space but they do have popups.

http://www.hostindex.com

Webhosts come and go, so it's best to start at a directory of active webhosts. Try HostIndex.com if GeoCities and Angelfire don't work for your needs.

To pay for a server? You'd need quite a lot of money for that. It'd be cheaper just to get a good webhost for like $20/month. Oh well. Good luck.

I'm finding geocities more difficult to deal with all the time. And interestingly, I found that if you don't put <head> and <body> tags in the page, angelfire's pop ups don't seem to work. I also read that angelfire will soon be allowing cgi.

You could consider https://www.stargateinc.com, 10 dollars for 300mb hosting and 2 "free" domains to go along with it.....

they also have a 7 dollar plan for "just" 100mb.....

oopstracks.com has been hosted there for over a year now and only once i was online (well, once I know of, don't check every day, but visitors are never low so it must be working ;-))

Uh-oh! Neither one of those qualify as "free" in any sense.

I've had good luck with Topcities hosting my scrapyard so far. They provide 150 megs, and only place a small banner at the top.
