since draggers have their own metal heads thread...

and most of you are metalheads (I'm not, I'm a hardcore kid, a hardcore fan) let's share our favorite bands via youtube videos [>>>]

but I love metal too heh

my fav musical genres are hardcore punk, ny hardcore, progressive hardcore, metalcore, grindcore, death metal, deathcore, thrash metal, brutal death metal, technical deathmetal, melodic death, deathgrind, post-hardcore, screamo (although emo/scene trend sucks) punk rock, street punk, crust punk, horror punk, heavy metal, black metal, crossover thrash, groove metal, oi!, powerviolence, speed metal, power metal (hmm..not really, too lame), ska, skapunk, skacore, garage rock, alternative rock, hard rock...

my fav metal bands are: As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, The Black Dahlia Murder, Unearth, Trivium, Caliban, Metallica, A7X, Shadows Fall, Napalm Death, Throwdown, Beneath the Massacre, Darkthrone [tu]

nu metal like Slipknot & Mudvayne are ok, rapmetal, rapcore & doom metal sucks. Bands like Linkin Park, Evanescence [td]

VIDEOS:

As I Lay Dying - 94 Hours
It's actually the first metalcore band that I really liked. check the double kick of Jordan Mancino, it's SICK!

For Metallica fans, here are some samples of the new album "Death Magnetic"

of course, the almighty whitechapel!

you definitely got some love for the thrash scene hehe

i'm more into the straight heavy metal and i've really been getting into some of the dragon force/children of bodom esc. bands.

you should check out mendeed. they're not very well known in the states it doesn't seam like, but i love them!

I like the partridge family. That Danny kid cracks me up, especially when he always gets the better of Reuben Kincaid, lol.

about Killswitch

Killswitch Engage - Fixation on the Darkness
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB-RGSjQrJY

Killswitch Engage - My Last Serenade
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zkxDeFRat8

I love the old KsE, i think jesse leach it's a better vocalist than howard jones, Alive or Just Breathing is, by far, their best record. The new stuff is cool, but it's too melodic and less hardcore

lol, really? The guitars are ultra-harmonised, the drums are soft, and there are more clean vocals.

From "the heaviest to the softest"

* Alive or Just Breathing
* Killswitch Engage EP
* The End of Heartache
* As Daylight Dies (lastest album)

My curse is too slow for me, well, that's what Hardcore is all about, speed. That's why Grindcore is the world's fastest music genre.

I know this is not related at all (or even close) to metal, but this is proabably one of the fastest vocalists I've ever heard.
