Oh my God! That's cool!
And he's using an 8-string electric guitar for that! I also have an 8-string and I love mine. :D

Heh, I have been planning to do guitar covers of the MTM1/MTM2/MTM64 songs sometime.
I'll post a topic of that within the future when I can get to that.

That would be great! Lots of great stuff to cover. Always loved the rock and metal tracks from MTM1/2. And the background song from Yucatan Adventure/Arizona/Highlands  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqYxr7UT9Xs

It's a shame that the existence of MTM guitar covers are quite super rare.
That's crime! Lol. XD

And what makes it more complicated is there's no guitar tabs for these songs, sooo I'll have to learn them by ear and of course, make the guitar tabs, to which I'll try my best.
I'll happily share the tabs in the future~

I do love all the soundtracks in the MTM games!
But I do have a handful of my favorite songs from the MTM games that I'd most likely want to cover first on guitar. ;)

My favorite MTM songs list

(MTM1 Track 1) Brown Eyed Girl
(MTM1 Track 2) Send You Mind
(MTM2 Track 2) My Oh My
(MTM1 Track 3) The Back Room (AKA the MTM1 intro)
(MTM2 Track 5) In The Doghouse
(MTM2 Track 9) (And Now the Waltz) C'Est la Vie
(MTM1 unnumbered track) that unnamed song from Winding Way I think (I just call it "Metal Crush." I would love to know the actual name of that song!)
(MTM2 unnumbered track) Splash screen theme

Those are my jam!
Send You Mind is my #1 favorite MTM1 song since it sounds epic, heck even the name of the song literally speaks for itself in how awesome it sounds, heh.
My Oh My is my #1 favorite MTM2 song song, the guitar riffs all sounds so tasty to my ears especially the harmonized lead guitar playing parts.

There's one thing that has always confused me about these songs though...

How come the songs in MTM1 sounds nothing like their original counterparts since these songs are by Van Morrison?
As a musician, that has always bugged me when I have listened to the original and the MTM versions to compare once, and they totally don't sound recognizable from each other.

Oh well, they're still awesome tho! Lol.

Where did you get these names? Here at MTMG we use different music track names (couldn't find the link, but they're based on a TRI readme file in which they listed all the CD music tracks and its names)

Van morrison? weren't these songs composed by Kyle Richards and Tom Wedge @ TRI? Are they just covers?
