 Post subject: pod.ini help!

i am such a noob... here's what i did:

i installed pod.ini. i downloaded the world finals 2009 track by white. i move the wf pod into the mtm2 directory, as well as pod.ini. i extracted all the files. then i opened up pod.ini, placed a checkmark by the wf pod, pressed ok, and it said "Acess Denied." someone please help me!

Pod.Ini is a file. Do you mean PodIt?

No, you don't mean podit... because podit doesn't have check marks.

So then, the pod.ini file is write protected. Right click it, select properties, and uncheck 'read only'


And while we're here, let's anticipate your next problem. Where did you get the game? It doesn't sound like the full installation to me.

I gave him a link from Vales on YouTube... He might not have used it though, but it is a possibility.

i right click and uncheck read only, it still says acess denied.

To my knowledge that site you mentioned never did have a full version of MTM2 for download so my guess is your game is not the full version.

If you got it from there then why not ask that site for support, after all the version of the game you got was supplied by them.

By any chance did you mean PODINI instead of POD.INI?

Despite similar spellings, the former is a pod installation utility program, while the latter is a game .INI text file containing the names of the pods installed in MTM2, and is already found in the game folder when it is installed on your PC.
