That's all I ever ask is for credit.

Take for instance, on the truck page, there is Trans Am that he got from CobraGZ, and the wheels, tires, axles, and who knows what else is on it, is mine... no read me file, no credits, nothing.

That's the type of stuff that really digs into my skull. That is how problems start. He obviously ripped apart my 71 GMC Panel truck, for my parts, but now, if it isn't fixed, someone else is going to rip it apart and add it their truck, and so on, and so on, till no one knows where it came from. Then all it takes is some lamer to step up, and say, "Yeah hey, that's mine I made that" and claim to be the author, when this kid has not even a clue how to even use Binedit.

I've seen it happen many times, that's why I jump on people so bad. I'm flattered that you want to use my stuff, so go ahead, just give the author credit, it's the least people could do.

You can use anything of mine you want, just don't rip apart one of my trucks and repaint it, there are plenty of people that do that, that's why I said, start from scratch, and do something original. But use whatever you want of mine, just say it's mine, and I won't say a word.

He should be ran over [:P] after messing up on your power wheels, I have decided your trucks are just to good for repaints.

There's no set deadline for anything here. When you're happy with it, then upload it.

I just have a couple comments, you have the engine in the frame, in the rear of the truck. But you have a scoop and pipes coming out of the hood, with nothing under it... looks kinda goofy imo. [:P]

For lag reasons, always remember, "if you can't see it, you don't need it" meaning the extra rollcage inside the cab, if the windows of the body aren't cut out, and you can't physically see the frame, delete any of the tubes that you can't see. The tubes stick through the roof of the body a bit, so just get rid of them.

Always remember to "delete all unused" verts after you get rid of them. But... it's a start, and you gotta start somewhere.

 Ah yes....The pipes and the scoop are a part of a small little failed mini engin. Or for a microwave [:P]

>Tubes ect
I know it looks out of place, But I guess I left them there in thinking about how many times I roll over, Most races I spend on my hood, So insted of paying for a new frame, Pay for top bars! :D

if it were a real truck, then that would make sense...

....but since it's a Video game truck, you reply is just silly.

Everything on a truck model is placed there for visual purposes. Like he said, if you can't see it, delete it. It's just a wasteful loss of game performance otherwise.

I'd also recommend removing the hood scoop and pipes from the mid-engine truck, same as I recommended a modeler in the EVO2 forum remove the cowl-induction hood from the monster he was making. He listened and didn't debate it, because he knew the comment was valid. Cowl induction has no use on a slow moving vehicle with no engine in front.

I think you are using pretend situations as an excuse for poor modeling.....Did you really have to pay anything for those truck parts? No....

You are off to a good start in the hobby of CG truck-making....Don't mess it up with nonsense alibi's like those above. Follow the good advice of these veteran modelers and do some "repairs".

He's just having a little fun here BD, no harm done. Proper modeling skills takes lots of time to learn, goofs and mistakes along the way are to be expected.
