Dark Storm
by runt9

This truck is the product of a few good hours of work. I put some good effort into designing this truck, and I'm really happy with the result. This is undoubtedly my best paintjob to date. I even decided to write up a story for it.

Andrew Smith, a young guy in the sport of monster trucks, was looking to buy his first monster. He found an old 2001 Chevy Silverado and got busy. He was a professional artist, so he was able to map out exactly what he wanted. The result stood in front of him perfectly. Now he needed a frame, some tires, and the other necessities. He called up Digger's Dungeon and asked for the old Digger 19 frame. To his suprise, they let it go for a fair price. He put some time into it, molding it down to be the right size for his truck. He stuffed it on with some coilover shocks and was happy with himself. He found himself a set of monster tires and painted the insides black to go along with the paint. He slapped 'em on and had his beautiful truck before him. He named it Dark Storm, in memory of the 2003 tornado that ripped through his hometown. He ran the truck for a good long while, tearing it up multiple times. Each time he put it back together, and is now going strong in the 2007 season with this truck.
