togera, you cannot edit somebody else's truck like this. I'm afraid I have to remove this and prowler from the download page.

Yes as long as you ask the maker of the trucks and they say yes then you can upload them. Or give them credit.

Usually in the read me file of the original maker, they will say if people can use their stuff. If it doesn't say or there is none, its seems to me as long as you include a read me 'notepad' file with your .pod and cite or identify where you got all your parts from is legit, but Dennis hasn't written any read me files but RTD_Dave has.

Unfortunately, that's not quite the way it works. Think of your favorite novel. Is it okay to reprint it and call it your own just because you use a different color paper because it's easier on some people's eyes? I'm afraid before you can call something your own you have to do more than adjust the ride height in the trk file. By the same token, you cannot change the file and upload it as the original maker because they did not make the change. In short, it is one thing to use a part or something from somebody else's work, but you cannot just tweak it to your liking and re-release it. Doing so is plagarism and should be discouraged in the game and in other areas of creativity as well. I hope that makes sense.

Well I was going to find Dennis's info for you but my browser won't let me enter his site as it says "This site may harm your computer" and it won't let me enter. The site address is monsterphoto.iwarp.com/ which should have his info somewhere. If you can go to it make you sure you have anti-virus and mozilla fire fox and remember"This site may harm your computer". I think the potential viruses are from all of the advertising on his site.

I know that it is the plagiarism but seen that I don't know how to create trucks again (I need a good tutorial for that) I modify some trucks that please me and that I would want to have in rts and I would like that those that like this version also benefit some

You've already seen that.

I understand. Unfortunately, tho, you should not upload them. That is up to the original maker to do.
