(woo right topic!)

Ah yes. Another one. This one basicly is the same old trash can, new lid (with some kick tailgate cosmetics!) Built for more heavyer racing like in snow. Its main destonation is the 2005 season of racing. Ill post more on it latter, I have been workin on it for about a week, and I am not ready to realise it yet.
Heres some pics to last the wait.

Looks like you moved one vertix several dozen feet down on the Y axis. Does it look like that in Binedit too?

Have you made high and low detail versions of the model? It could be one of the detail models with the vert out of place. If you want, zip up your pod and send it over. I'd like to have a look. Who knows, it could even be a graphics card glitch - some pretty strange things have happened from time to time.

EDR2.bin (missing texture EDRE.RAW/act)

Vertex No. 1 is
<table width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" border="0"><tr><td class="quote">-875, -21016, -779 </td></tr></table>
Vertex No. 1 should be
<table width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" border="0"><tr><td class="quote">-875, 200, -779 </td></tr></table>

Also, I invite you to join the binedit test group

-So far, I have changed some paint on it as you can see, and riped out head lights. May seam like a Jip, but to make it up, there is Strobe lights! also, I am trying to make the cockpit light.

Actually, monster trucks with fiberglas bodys a d working headlights are extremely rare these days.

Just take your time with it and get everything right. We can wait a little longer if it means a better truck in the end.

Question.
How do you get the paint of a window, to be see through, but have a glassy look to it (see Mat's Krazycars for an example of what I am talking about) Is that a pictoral error or is it possilble to make?

I assume you mean "Insanity Kar", as I can find nothing here called "krazycar".

There is a topic here somewhere on the subject, but I can't find it. perhaps Phin or another member can point it out to you.

Note that it doesn't always work properly. I tried putting such a windshield on my RUDOLPH"S RIDE truck. Looking through the front, it worked fine.

However, when looking out from the cab of the truck, I noticed that the hood and everything else was invisable.

Also. When I installed such a windshield on my STEELERS truck, the inside surfaces of the body were invisible, while the frame, engine and driver were clearly seen. I could not get it to work properly no matter what I tried, so I left the glass out.

There is a topic about transparent faces in the Binedit room that may have the answer...I need to re-read Drive2survives text again.
