I have made a model for a solar powered car, I am very pleased with it. However when I create the truck using this model and pod it and mount it then in the game I can't see the model, the wheels shocks and stuff like thats there :? (in truck editor the model can be seen and it doesn't say there is anything wrong when I pod). But when I select a view which is closer to the truck it suddenly appears. I also can't see the model on the truck selection screen in the preview of the selected truck.

Can anyone help me on this one???

Thanks!!

Sounds like there's a file name conflict. Rename the truck bin to something unique and repod it. See if that helps/makes a difference.

Sounds to me like you found the "truck model basename" system that the game uses to switch around between low and high detail models, which is a mechanism of the bin model file name and what you enter into the trk file.

You've fixed it now so no need for me to go on about this, but if you want more info:

Nice job by the way, you wouldn't happen to own a certain HotWheels model would you? :)
