This is simply a replica of the "Hollywood" Hogan truck, based on the stock truck that comes with MTM2. Xtreme has done (or claims to have done) most of the work himself; although the body is simply a fiberglassed version of the stock truck, performed by BigDOGGe. It wears the stock paint, although these files have been renamed - even though their layout hasn't been changed. Oddly, some minor colour degradation seems to have occurred, most visible as a slight pixelation on the windshield.

The body doesn't have cut-out windows, nor does it have the driver compartment boxed in, so it's effectively hollow inside the cab although this is reasonably well hidden, as is the upper part of the engine, by the natural shape of the body and the detail in the chassis. This body sits atop a nicely detailed, custom-built frame, that seems at least reasonably accurate but is otherwise pretty standard stuff when viewed alongside all the user-created replicas that have gone before. Xtreme claims to have built the engine, but if so he appears to be using textures from some of Sleeper's and Angus's engine models, as well as a whole 256x256 texture devoted to nothing other than a single shade of grey (and there's also another for black). The truck has shocks and a detailed rear cantilever suspension setup, also built by Xtreme, but the shocks themselves are very simple four-sided tubes. There is some more inefficient texture use going here, as these shock models are mapped to a shock texture that takes up a tiny area in the top-right corner of another 256x256 .RAW file. A fuel cell by BigDogGTX contributes yet another 256x256 texture containing only large blocks of primary colour. And finally, a stock bigfoot texture is in this mix too. The truck uses a total of eleven textures for the truck body, seven of which are 256x256ers. Many of these textures could have been made into 64x64 .RAWs, and/or combined, to reduce waste; possibly using half the total number or even less. Textures aside, the construction doesn't look too bad at all.

The wheels are stocks modified by BigDOGGe to have an inner rim, and remapped by Xtreme with a photo-textured tread pattern. This new tread looks great and still fits in when compared to the stock wheels. Since this is a drag truck, the treads have picked up chalk off the lanes and are therefore considerably lighter than the sidewalls. The readme file provides no hints as to the origin of the axles, which are quite altered from the stock ones and any customs ones we could find.

The truck's .TRK file is pretty much standard. Xtreme has made some slight adjustments to the wheelbase (seems to have crept forwards), specified some new shock textures and lined up the axlebars correctly, etc., but that's it. The lights are the same setup as the stock truck's, as are the commentary wavs. Xtreme hasn't seen fit to rename his replica, so it appears in game with the exact same name as the stock version so that, although they don't conflict, they're indistinguishable in the truck selection list.

All said, this is a fine replica one of the more often overlooked trucks in the game (it wasn't even included in the original fiberglass TC pack), but one that isn't particularly remarkable in any way, save as an update on a stocker. And, of course, it looks pretty decent.
