The first is due to a bad bin. THe truck body or tires or axle. Umm the second could be just about anything. Fixt the bad model first and that will probably fix the other.

Just noting a couple errors.
  • If there are two sit files, you cannot delete one (try junk or snake pods). Renaming didn't help so there may be something wrong with the way they were merged that is causing the problem.
  • data\null is written to lst file incorrectly. It doesn't display so well either :-P
  • A pod with 7554 files will not load

actually anything over 5000 files wont work
or 5000 verts in a model.

Umm. Yea it's a bad program that uses a bunch of arrays instead of objects. And the loading is really really bad cause i didnt know how to load an int so i loaded a string and conveted it to an int lol.
Umm. What features of C-POD do people still use? Maybe i can make a program that does those things. This time i'll do it closer to properly.

I was only posting for the sake of noting. I didn't really intend that you should do anything about it. However....

>> What features of C-POD do people still use?

Everything. Every last bit of it. Lately for me it's been creating lst files, fixing things, then rebuilding from the lst. But podzipping, adding deleting and renaming files, batch conversions, texture replacing, viewing various files, converting and dis/enabling tracks and trucks, making truck pods. The whole nine yards. Every bit of this program is pure gold.

Noting the couple points above, if I were to say one thing that could stand improvement, it's not a feature but an aspect of one that's already there. That is, to make this perfect, it would be nice if it could view and extract as quickly as podview. But that's about it.

If we wanted to get ridiculous, we could say build mtm1 trks as well as mtm2. And build mtm1/2 tracks from sits. But honestly, that's pushing it over the top. c-pod is a gem exactly the way it is. And I don't think I'm the only person who thinks so.

==========

c-pod has been used to podzip 909 lesser driven tracks to date.

And the count is still climbing.
