On a rumble like Diamond Dam there is a Ramp that shoots you from the bottom straight up... How can this be done?

Two methods

A lot of thin flat models stacked one just above the others

A model set to ramp property.

I tried using the set of models to make it work. Does anyone have a number between the models needed? I've tried everything from 5, to 10, to 6, to 4.5, 5.5

Two rumbles I know use them. You might want to check and see what they use.

Warpcube 2.0

Dug 4

If all else fails, hold on until slayer gets here. He did dug 4 so he'd know more than me.

Alright hopefully slayer can help me. I can't see the amount of distance (numeric wise) between the models in traxx.

If you're using flat models set them to any height that looks good. Then set all the flat models to 'no collide' except the one at the very top, now make an object box and set it's properties to 'ramp' and place it just under the top most flat model that's set to default.

Note, you should size the ramp to match the flat models length and width. The ramps height only needs to be 1 or 2 feet thick (not the default 20).

Using models exclusively for elevators is fine except they tend to get sticky sending the trucks flipping and sometimes just plain stuck.

thanks a lot for the help! one more question though. when trying to place the models, I sometimes have a hard time placing them exactly one over the other. Is there any way I can type in the coords of each model to make it so it's right over the one below it?

Use the D, C, F, and V keys to move the model left right forward and backward.

The S and X keys move the model up and down

The G, B, H and N keys will tilt the model

Click Help/Keyboard Summary in Traxx for more hot key info

I must be using an older version. That isn't in the hot key help in my traxx.
