I'm repainting a truck which only had two art files for the body, so when I put in a name on the truck it only appears the right way round on the left side and is back to front on the right side.
How do I turn the name around on the right side?

Do you mean like this truck ?

The only answer is to paint the other side and then remap it in binedit.

I don't know if this is true, but can't you just mirror the logo in your painting program?

Sometimes that will work and other times it won't. It has to do with the way it's mapped to the model.

See if the binedit help pages anywhere help you out. It's a matter of selecting the faces (space bar and F-key), then mapping them the correct way - either to a new texture or remapping to the one you have.

You should have seen my first truck. The truck bed was on the hood, the fenders were on the side panels, the tail gate got lost... all scrambled around, lol.

Some of those would make great battering rams for knocking opponents off the track.

It's probably about time I say something in here.
  • Those links above show only about a fifth of what I've done. I only put my name on something when partnering with somebody or for an expo. I think I've done close to forty tracks and forty trucks, and about a hundred conversions. I've also helped others from time to time.
  • That stock truck pack was made in response to some people claiming if you didn't make trucks like everybody else then there was something wrong with you. I argued it's not about conforming but about creativity... in whatever shape it may take. I think the portopotty truck was LightningZaps, and the hydrant was a newly made demonstration for Bin Masta's tiremaker.

haha, calm down, i'm just kidding heh, we all know you like to, hum, let's say "change your name", between each work you made.

And when I said "You're a great track maker" you know that I really meant that (only 20% percent of sarcasm on that sentence) :)
