I still like Disturbed, but Twisted Sister is great.
What about Motorhead ? I love them too.
Still around. Somewhere.

I forgot about Tool and Metallica being compared. That is such an opposite set of bands haha.

Haha! I knew you would say that, you've obviously only herd Twisted Sister's later music.
When "Under the Blade" was made, Twisted Sister were REAL heavy metal, NOT glam metal. If you listen to songs from "Under the Blade and "You Can't Stop Rock N' Roll", you will notice it's a lot heaver than their more well known song and albums.
And yes OLD_YoMega, I like Motorhead to.

I've been listening to a lot of old Shadows Fall lately (raw melodeath). and some death metal, sludge metal and Darkthrone-like norwegian black metal. Some new school hardcore too and chilean thrash metal & hardcore punk bands. I got bored of deathcore, tech death and melodeath-metalcore bands.

I can never get bored of the tech bands, there's just too much to follow to ever get bored for me lol.
Did you know old Shadows Fall is the All That Remains singer. [(-:]

Yep, Philip Labonte, great vocalist, mediocre singer ;)

Pretty much everything has been past the fall of ideals. They badly need to find a more creative drummer.

New drummer fails terribly. He can't even play the old songs right, have you seen the ATR live DVD?
