Not to detract from the conversation but I found this while reading a programming forum... and thought it was kind of funny. The question was: how can you know when the operating system is vista?

vista

Post by crawfydude1 »

I tried vista ultimate (downloaded off net and cracked, hehe), i must say it looks great with the aero theme! MTM2 works fine, although in the install it wouldn't work until i right clicked the setup.exe and set compatibility to xp.

I am sticking to xp for a long time yet, when running vista it feels like I have half the cpu and half the ram I have (and my pc aint that old). Games run too slow to even play good, and it freezes up all the time. So much for microsoft's new operating system.

Maybe vista might be better when they release a service pack. Anyway im sticking to xp in the mean time.
