According to the readme this's the first track dmv455 had done, and according the the author listings here it was the only one s/he ever did do. But i'll tell ya what, this could be the best 'first' anyone has ever done. There are no models to speak of except for the checkpoints so if your into eye candy you may want to pass on this, but man oh man, this guy knew how to lay down some serious mtm race track to have some fun on. You'll need a little attitude, some driving skills, a little luck, and a sober attention span of about 7 minutes.
good stuff, very good stuff.

I remember driving this shortly after it was released. I recognized the quality right away but those animated textures drove me nuts and unfortunately the maker was nowhere to be found. I sometimes wish these fellas would take a few minutes every now and again to drop a note in here so we can become more aware of their stuff.
Things being what they are, however, this is an easy one to fix without touching the original track. So.... I updated the download file so the animations are gone, a color palette generated, and the whole thing podzipped. It is definitely worth the download and I'm afraid it would never get the recognition it deserves if those things were left unattented. Now with them fixed, I have no hesitation giving this the ol' mtmg thumbs up.

Hi !
First at all, this is my first track. If U find any error, please feel free to
modify wherever U like or let me know about it.
This is a middle-long rally. My best time : 6:19
The main goals were speed, big jumps, long playtime, and competitivity.
I tried to have no shortcuts, but I think it has.
I would like to know if U like this track.
My email : dmv@fich1.unl.edu.ar
So... here we go, buddy.
Enjoy the ride !
Diego
Ah... !

Yeah, thats why I post about it, I got to try it out, and I gotta say, its darn fun, seriously, it does lack models and such, but the track layout is great, even an invisible floor at one point to improve the jump (that worked well and I didn't notice till after the fact).
Defintly a good racers track, i think it was almost designed to be a tourny track, im sure it will be a good race. _________________

I agree with you. It's fun. But sadly 50-60% of the time will be spent off the track instead of on the track _________________ "...and there's Pantano having an 'I'll go join that crash' moment." - Martin Brundle (UK F1 commentator) |

| Actually, even using shortcuts this is still a good driving track. Of course, after the tourney somebody might want to do a mont gris with it and spiff it up and drop in a few more cps but it wouldn't bother me to leave it alone either. It drives really well. |

It is good and it even adds extra spice to it but i have a tendency to prefer tracks that stick the driver on the designated road instead of having him go wild all over the place.
And i make that quite obvious in my tracks _________________ "...and there's Pantano having an 'I'll go join that crash' moment." - Martin Brundle (UK F1 commentator) |

ill go either way but, for a tourny tracks, somewhat obvious shortcuts, are a lot better in my opinion, making me think of that other tourny track, were SP actually took a break so we could be shown a short cut lol. In theory, cuts should only be used(exist) if everyone knows about them, otherwise it could be the same as cheating. Of course in reality, this never happens. So tracks with obvious shortcuts, or none at all are my favorites. Or at least very insignifficant short cuts, im guilty of making small cuts in my track, usually after a big jump (Fun in the snow and Up Down and Around as examples, final jump has a short cut). These cuts aren't plainly obvious until you take them usually by accident, or see someone else take them. So, its not really fair, but hey, who said racing was fair lol. Im still convinced rocket has his truck/computer tunned lol (Let me believe what i want to believe lol) _________________
