Sign in, EmceeMart. Don't be shy.

Anyway, they were all born in England.

Or do you require something more specific like they were all british, comedians (most were anyway), and did work for the bbc, and probably even friends.

"Sign in, EmceeMart. Don't be shy." oops

"Anyway, they were all born in England." This is probably true but not the answer.

"Or do you require something more specific " Yes :)

Not even close Phinny... the clue is in the topic :)

Nice try Pitbull... but somehow I can't envisage Alan Rickman doing the Ministry Of Funny Walks sketch :D

You mean they weren't brits, didn't work together, and didn't like each other?

Well, I couldn't have been that far wrong then.

Let's see then. That either leaves they were the real beatles and ringo paul george and john just lip-synch'd the tunes or they all dated marianne faithfull but she didn't get the jokes so the relationships never developed.

I give, I was thinking the same Phin already said.

That's not really "music" trivia is it? Meaning, I never knew Clease as to have sang anything outside of Python. No idea.

Rep.. the point is it is very musically orientated, though none of the aforementioned artists actually 'sang' on the RECORDINGS I'm thinking of ... Li'l clue there folks. [;)]

I still havnt seen where Peter Cook was involved with Tubular Bells, maybe I am missing something but the Wiki page says nothing about it and I couldnt come up with any connection using Google.

BTW here is the discography page at Tublar.net for TB3

http://tubular.net/discography/TubularBellsIII.shtml

I couldnt find Peter cook there, or for that matter anyone credited with being an MC.
Reality is for those that cant handle video games.

Woody:

"TB3 Peter Cook" - probably included as a bonus track on one of the various Tubular Bells packages, or a live performance... can't remember where I got the original info - could well have been a reader review from Amazon.

I know for a fact that he doesn't perform on the "official" TB3 because I downloaded it and listened to it all day! :) (Trivia upon trivia: I have a brother and a son named Peter Cook)

Levi:

Vivian Stanshall was the front man for the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band - well spotted

The Rutles combined Eric Idle (of Monty Python, hence the John Cleese connection) and Niel Innes (of Bonzo Dogs, hence the Viv Stanshall connection). - well spotted once again.

Who is going to pose the next question? :)
