The Outsiders was real? (Footage of MTM2 Stinger also).

Post by Roadknight »

Please skip to about 6:27 in this video, and take a good look at the truck in question; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48qGoEKNAQo

Take a close look at where the door would be, and where the logo is. Though it is hard to make out, the logo looks more like "The Outsiders" than "Dungeon of Doom". The "Dungeon of Doom" logo was bigger than what is seen on the side of the truck I have pointed out.
What does everybody else think?

Also, for those that have always wanted to see it, here's footage of Stinger with the MTM2 paintjob. (Skip to 1:24 in the video).

For many years now players have been saying that Dungeon of Doom was the real truck and that The Outsiders was a fictional paintjob for MTM2.

Anybody have any better photos of the real thing?

they were both real but the end part of that video is the only public proof we have of the outsiders right now. maybe i'll ask diggerfanJSB on youtube if he has the rest of that footage.
i noticed the mtm2 retail version has blood and the beta version doesn't (like the real one).
the stinger was definitely real, but the mtm2 version didn't have the orange or deep purple in the paint like the real one.

fun fact(lol):: the 1998 stinger was on a hall chassis @ one point for some reason. 'dunno why.

I heard Bigfoot was a real truck to. Not sure if that's a rumor or not.
