Army Armstrong Voice Model is now on Uberduck.ai!

Hello everyone!
I got something pretty cool to talk about and show off.

Yes, you are reading the title correctly.
This. Is. A THING.
It is now.

To anyone that's confused, have any of you heard about voice cloning or v2tts (voice-2-text-to-speech) sites as Uberduck.ai?
Real-time voice cloning text-to-speech is incredible technology and I am highly fascinated by them.
When I found out about this stuff, I was mind blown! We really are living in the future are we?

Guess what? I was lucky enough to take Army Armstrong's voice clips, and I cloned his voice!!
Hopefully this will interest you all who always wanted to make Army say the names of your own trucks or if you just wanted him to say silly things.
I hope it's ok I posted in this category, I am sure this would count as one.
With that in mind, I kind've made a utility despite it's not a program, more like I just made a voice model and uploaded it on a site someone made all ready for anyone to play around with it.
(And other voices people uploaded like Mario for example! Crazy times we're living in man... )

On Uberduck.ai, all you need to do is create an account on the site in order to use the tool.
I know, that part may be a pain to some, but be happy that it's FREE!
You can even sign-in with gmail or Discord if you have either/both of those instead of making an account.

Now, how it works...
Just type in anything, generate and be patient, and then play the audio file! You can generate it infinite times as you wish for a better take.
You can even download the audio files too.

Remember, Army may not pronounce SOME words right, so be sure to misspell words to fit how they sound!
Ex; AVENGER just sounds like "a finger", but if you replace the G with the J, "avenjer", then he's saying it right.

After downloading your files, if you want them to become truck calls, just use Audacity to make sure they're in 11hz, 8-bit, mono sound format when exporting them from the program.
NOTE: Don't worry the program is free!

Yeah, it is impressive technology. I just love stuff like this, it gave me the opportunity to make Army's voice model, and I know this will make so many people happy when they discover it.

It'd be less "Bigfoot!" and more "[insert name here]!" in the past if we had this tech earlier. XD

Small, small note: Other then let's plays, I also did a "What If MTM3 Existed" video topic where I also created both a fan-made intro and the intro's theme song, and also "What If MTM2 Had More Videos" where the trucks gets videos instead of just pictures.

I'll start at the beginning.

One day I kept searching for random stuff on Youtube for futuristic technology I dream about or end up discover things I never thought about, and then discovered voice cloning a few years ago which sounds like it belongs in a sci-fi movie.
But shockingly, it is VERY REAL and it really surprised me that it does indeed exist.
That makes me feel good we the people came really far with our tech.
(3D printing is a thing too, and I never thought that about it before, but it's possible. 3D printing man! I want one... 3D printed 1:64 scale MTM1/MTM2 stock trucks anyone?)

Then came 2021 and I found out about 15.ai which is ok, but then one day on 15.ai's Twitter I found the alternative v2tts site someone posted--Uberduck.ai, even better!
And I thought to myself "wow! this is impressive! it's got way more voices on there than 15.ai!" when I visited the site, seeing so many voices.
Right then, when I saw I can upload voice models--I knew what I want to do, I wanted to get into cloning voice models.
I thought to myself, "I wanna clone Army Armstrong's voice! What if I can do this? I can make new truck calls with him like this, that'd be a huge plus. Not only that but this would bring a great tool for the MTM community AND even bring good content for my videos at the same time!"
So I gave it a go non-stop until I finally understood how it works and what stuff I used that worked for me which eventually led Army's voice being made!

In the beginning was VERY TOUGH for me because I had a really hard time trying to get the right stuff and find the right stuff but I never wanted to give up.
[looks at https://github.com/CorentinJ/Real-Time-Voice-Cloning while I cough a bit] Looking at you, v2tts program! >_> Lol. This one gave me a hard time, always with the generic voice for some reason so I tried other methods...

Once I found out about notebooks on Google and tried it, I was very happy to finally hear Army's voice.
I finally understood how it all worked with the notebook, and then I kept perfecting the voice model until it was done.

Thus, Army Armstrong's v2tts voice model was born.
I uploaded it and got super excited to see it on Uberduck.ai.
I was more than ready to use it for both my mtm addon truck projects AND for video content ideas.

That's how I came across this technology, that's how I found Uberduck.ai, and that's why I wanted to make the voice model.
My main goal was to bring such a cool tool for the MTMG site to spice up their trucks! To make the other fans happy like me.

Thanks for this! I'll update the HD pack again when I have a chance with the new voice files. It's not perfect but they're much better than what I tried pulling off of old Youtube clips and cleaning up.

I've literally spent a good chunk of my time testing this voice model with monster truck names from the past and today, genius idea mate!

Of course, it's not perfect, bearing in mind that Uberduck.ai doesn't always do a good job of word pronunciations and such, but overall this is excellent for creating trucks with names that you never really get from Army Armstrong's recorded voice lines.
