Well to start, the track was layed out nice.
The textures are very good works, and that is all i have to say good about it.

You start out in an area no start light or even an indicator of the start line. then you run down straight and if i didn't have the map on i would've shot right through the ...

I am very sorry to do this.... but i am going to hack this track to pieces.

First the tracks was made with MTM1 textures, not bad in itself except they weren't used very well.

Second, the backdrop was screwed up, you need to find the fixed backdrops... I had hall of mirrors throughout the whole ...

Emcee that is true I found that models will travel through other models when i built my track The Unknown. Which I had a moving ramp that would appear for a short time then disappear. I used 2d models to hide the areas where the ramp came from and went.

You can only use ground boxes to hold moving ...

Thanx Phin. I will have a go at it and see if it the texture names that do it.

Edit: I have built a test bin with just 2 squares and put the textures on them. Yes it is the texture name that triggers it. Thanx a lot Phineus.

Start Light

Ok now that I can do some really noce bins I want to do a custom Start Light. But I have one question how do I do the lights so they change??
I know I can do it by defining animation in binedit, but will it work that way or will it continue to flash?
Or should I just rip that part out of another ...

I looked at this track in Traxx just to see what he had done..... and I think I could tell him how to fix the problem with his HyperLifts..

I have used what he is trying to do in a couple of my tracks already, and used it very well. He has a good idea but it needs to be brought together properly....

No you cannot put real flashing lights on the crossing. It will not work.... take a look at my track Skull Run and see what i did for my rotating lights and that might give you an idea....
But in working on that track i tried a whole bunch of stuff to see if i could minipulate the only real light ...

Ok did you try manually making each 64x64 texture? By that I mean in PSP canvasing the size and cutting each 64x64 sqaure out of the texture.

I tried it real quick and it seemed to be pretty good. Also if you want to get around the 2 pixel overlap of MTM then it would be easier to do it this way ...

I started making tracks awhile ago and have come a long way from where I started. I have also learned how to make and paint bins.

Making a Spam can could be a real easy task if you actually set down and did the work yourself. Also doing it yourself will ...

I have been playing with it for a few days and I think it might work very well for building track terrain. I used to build the terrain for my new track and it came out pretty good ...

Skull Run by FIRE_REOSPEEDtm

This track started it's life as a clone of Graveyard. The reason it is named Skull Run is because i used a skull .bmp for the terrain. Then it just went from there. It's kind of a slick track so you will need to know how to handle your truck real good....

Well Phineus I fixed the problem. The first set of bins only had faces on the outside of the cone. I had to add faces on the inside also. Now it looks awesome. As soon as I get all them in I will post it for beta in the Beta section so you can check it out.
