I will get rid of the course segment idea, too, so now it's just a series of course "points," where the opponents head for one and then head for the next one and so on.
I believe TRI used the same concept you're planning on. The course "segements" were only there to show the direction and sequence of the points to eliminate any confusion.

One thing you may or may not want to encorporate into the model is a set of sway bars. It shouldn't be terribly hard to encorporate, but may be a little tricky connecting from right to left.

Where do they attach? I suppose they could be implemented, especially if it's on the axle.

I'll release a demo/test when the truck is fully driveable.

Can I be a beta tester as well? Oh, by the way, I'm not suggesting another stupid idea, but will Project Monster have it's own website? Like somewhere people can upload their tr?cks.

On some trucks (Huffaker chassis, etc.), they are on the side of the 4-link cradle. Look at the silver arms on these trucks by the shocks:

I had this idea while in the shower, not sure if someone else has already but i was thinking, any of you ever played need for speed underground, 2, most wanted? they have a different approach to making ur own car, rather then having to use a third party program and basically hack a new car in, you simply have a built in interface to customize your car. So why not have something like that project monster? have it so you like choose truck manufacturer, make, type, model, then choose the colour(s) decals and full packages, tire types, you could probably even have sweet rims or something lol. and that would allow even the ppl that dont know how to use those third party programs to customize their trucks. that would really add varity to what you can race, and eveyrone would see your customized truck. as i imagine it, id think it would be simple to transmit those customizations online to other players so they can see them online. just a seires of numbers, manufacture:2, make:5, type:13, model:34, color1:5, color2:52, decal1:5, decal2:15, decale3:null, decal4:null, decal5:15, tire:3, rims:18 etc... Its just a thought but thats what id really like to see in project monster.

I'm glad you like it! I'm currently working on the track editor, it seems to be going pretty well.

There's still a problem with switching terrain vertices, but now I'm working on the object placement mode.
