One more quirk I just discovered. When viewing the details of a bin file with a texture animation, C-POD will display each frame of the animation as a distinct texture - even if that texture is already listed (has been reused in the animation).

For example, my Expo truck has a flame animation of 240 frames (yes, that's right), each frame being one of a set of five textures, IGNFLAM0.RAW through IGNFLAM4.RAW... C-POD is giving me a texture list with 235 additional instances of IGNFLAM#.RAW textures...

ok yea that part of the proggy is not perfect

when you double click on the bin in the file list (same as doubleclicking the truck name) it loads the file into some arrays and when cpod finds a block that specifies textures it just tacks them onto the details popup - doesnt store them in an arry as it should. also it doesnt note down where that specific texture was. when you rename a texture it renames it everywhere in the bin. so yea i should really make sure there are no duplicates - but there usually isnt any duplicates - but i didnt think of animated textures. my bad.

the details popup isnt really linked to the main window. i kinda have it show what ever u viewd details of last.

keep on postin.

Right now i am in Salt Lake City Utah. Very nice weather j/k (100's and dry) the new library here is really nice.

i'll try to get on the net at some point again on the trip.

I ran into a few problems with the latest release. I could not use the texture replacer (I could but no replacing was done) nor could I build a pod from a trk or lst file. It would be nice if somebody else could confirm these points.

CH,

The other day I had all sorts of problems with this and a couple other programs. I could find no reason for anything; hard boots didn't help. I worked through most of the problems and I'm just about back to how things should be. I tried making a trk yesterday and it worked in game. I'll work more with it and let you know, good or bad, what, if anything, I come up with.

btw, you have mail.

i came across a couple of errors today, when trying to "disable" 2 tracks. funny thing is there both from the same person.

http://www.mwg.mw-gaming.com/Legwon/pics/cpoderror3.jpg

every other track on HD disables w/o a problem.
could this be a fault on behalf of the maker?
or did he add something that cpod doesnt like?

the 2 tracks are :
Rak em up
Twilight decks
both are made by SoulRaiZer

Ok, i fixed the texture replacing! now it works as it should :) consisted of a total rewrite of that process

also i got rid of the annoying off-by-one error that caused c-pod to always draw a vert at 0,0,0

also i found that when u tried to open a file in the recent list that doesnt exist an off-by-one error cause it to remove the file below the missing file instead of removing the missing file
if that makes sense

i havent had a chance to upload it yet tho cause ftp is down on zrecon.

Yea, I just tried it and something's wrong with the pod. Use the TXX file from traxx, and remake the pod. You should be okay then.

CH, this is just a shot in the dark but I had a similar problem compiling pods and it turned out to be a case sensitive issue.
