*What is MTM Wiki?

The wiki is primarily a knowledge base, with coverage of the games themselves, the thousands of mods for them, and their related community members and websites. In addition to encyclopedic articles, content includes how-tos, tutorials and research.

I have edited the MTM wikipedia article lots of times, but i never really felt like I was doing something important (You can check my edits here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?tit ... on=history)

In wikipedia, you can not write an article about Making trucks, creating PODs, viewing tracks with TRAXX, the life of GuitarBill, giving a list of utilities or a complete game bio, because that would be considerated "original research" or "advertising". However, MTMWiki is a complete encyclopedia dedicated to our most favorite game (and for some, the best game ever created).

During this 10 years of MTM2, lots of things have been discovered and created. And I think we found a proper place to archive all this stuff for years and more years.

*What's the difference between MTMWiki and MTMG

MTMG is a Guild, MTMWiki is a wiki about MTM. MTMG is a great tutorial resource, MTMWiki is more like an encyclopedia, when you can post your research and more stuff. Of course there will be tutorials, but not that structured like MTMG tutorials. MTMWiki will include links to many websties where you can get help. In MTMG you can get all the utilities needed to raise the standard, MTMWiki will not host any executable or file. MTMG is a website that the webmaster can edit, MTMWiki is a wiki that anyone can edit.

*How I can help?

First step: register.

(You can edit MTMwiki as anonymous IP, but it would be better if you make an account. This won't take you a minute, and you don't even have to check your email address.

You can do many things, expand a stub, create a new article or just check the spelling. (Remeber, english is not my first languge)

For example. Draggers can help with making a stub or a full article about MTM2 Dragging and it's styles, or the way it's played this days.

Developers can help describing their utilities, or adding some on the list.

Nice. A wiki might make it more attractive to update some old tutorials (like my wasteland of old ones) since you don't need to worry so much about page formatting, etc. And it can all be linked together.

I'd distribute my ad blocker, but its not ready yet, still in development. Got nasty bug that if you hit Block twice, it actually corrupts your system and you cannot restart your computer (No worry Kmaster, doesnt exist in your old version)
