Evo 2 to MTM 2

Post by N_Gage_18 »

Does anyone know where I can find a working tutorial on converting trucks from 4x4 Evo 2 to MTM2 and vice versa? I tried the one at Legwon's site and the link was dead. So I thought that Big Dogge would have one because of all the conversions he has posted at Legwon's emporium, but the link to his site was dead too. Btw, does anyone have a Dodge Magnum model?

There's a typo on leg's page under 4x4 Evolution 1&2 / 4x4 EVO Conversion Tutorial

it should read - http://malibu350.com/tnt/4x4tomtm2conversion.htm
not - - - - - - - - http://malibu350.com/tnt/4x4_mtm2conversion.htm

The same mistake is probably on the tnt page as well but I can't find it lol

[edit] the zmodeler links on that are defunct.
http://www.zmodeler2.com works much better

thanks PM

Ok, thanks for the help. So I am to assume to convert the truck from MTM2 to EVO 2, I just read the directions in the reverse order? And no one knows about a Dodge Magnum?

Sort of. I remember importing OBJ files to binedit, and the imported models were completely white, because binedit can't import the mapping of the OBJ files, neither the material (art, textures) files. so I guess same thing happens with SMF files when you import em.

If the texture that the .smf is mapped to is in same folder providing the texture is supported by Zmod (.bmp works fine) it will import mapped and everything of the sorts.
