Checkpoint Glitch

Does this happen to anyone else, or is it just my crappy computers? Sometimes, when I'm in a race with checkpoints, I will hit a checkpoint gate( on the ground) and it will not register with the game.I'll go through the checkpoint, but I'll have to go through it again (many times if I have to) to get it to register and make the little sound. It does it with random checkpoints too, not just one in particular. Is anyone still following me on this?

This sometimes happens to me on the torture pit track, especially on the 5th checkpoint. Even when I drive right through the middle of the checkpoint it does not register it. I haven't had this happen on any other track though.

Trackmakers should always bury the checkpoint at least 3 feet underground. Also the checkpoint should stretch beyond the posts by 1 foot on each side.
