There was an update on the post. Apparently he was just in poor health and had simply given up

I've never met online with Rep Fan but I have seen a lot of his work. He was good at what he did. Thanks man and R.I.P.

Dang - just heard the news tonight. Really sad to hear about this. RF was a nut for sure, but he was a heck of a good guy, and I'm definitely going to miss him. We definitely shared some good times, together, and I'll always be grateful for all of the custom trucks he constructed for team SLO. Rest in peace, buddy.

I'm sorry to know that Rep Fan is gone now. It's quite sad. He will be missed. Although, I still like his vehicles.
