Re: TRACKED2 - WIN7?

Thanks Cale.
I tried DOSbox, but i browsed to the directory instead of changing the config. I'm absolutely new to DOSbox, so ill mess around and see what i can do.

Any info on how to get ahold of any current players. If there are any active?

Thanks again

TRACKED2 - WIN7?

I was wondering if anyone was able to get tracked 2 running on windows7, and if so what are the steps I need to get it up and running. I've got a track I had unfinished hanging around for a few years and I am looking forward to getting it finished up. Tracked2 offers a few things that would be very ...

it is still active but not like it was. go to the main page of mtm2.com, then down on the right hit the "online play" or chat room" inks, that where we hang and the tournament are posted.

what I did was extract the stock water files, and then imported them into pain shop pro. Then I colored them just how I wanted them (in snowbound), and podded them back up.

if podded in the top of the ini it will give you nice blue water.

For the watefralls i used the same textures on the ground ...

It would be nice to see you able to race once in a while ISP can be a big PITA.

I actually had one give me a dialup account too because the pings were in the 90's on dialup versus a very unstable ping through broad band

I have found that an unstable ping (though low) is worse than a high ping ...

I had a linux router when I was wireless back in the day. It handled everything, I think was a p2?

They didn't; throttle wireless back then at all, so I ran cat 5 through the crack in the pavement to the neighbors house, and lit up the entire neighbor hood with the linux router. we could only get ...

I don't know why everyone doesn't ever at least keep the chat open so they can see when people want to play.

I try to whenever I am available for a race. I am always leaving my msnb contact info so people can message me for an IP race, but I have only had 2 or 3 takers.

Rip_maniac, and Dabomber ...

I actually do draw when i get the bug. The majority of my drawings are abstract 3d collages (tubes, pipes, and other objects) that wrap around each other twist, drop and tangle. Think like a bio metal type of tattoo, but with 3 dimensional shapes instead. Some are hollow, some thick walled some thin ...

Yep Dk I sure wish we'd all get together too. The game is dern fun, and when I am in game there's very little to get me upset.

Shoot even when I am working hard on a track or a whatever project. There are a ton of active MTMer's. I would like to see them all put aside difference in the past and ...

After further testing, it seems that setting the shadow to anything over 94% kicks in the reverse shadows.

a setting of 94% and below produces very dark almost black shadows, anything more and the opposite bug kicks in. This is shot at 94% shadow

FWIW tire tracks and the "smoke" from the tires are both affected the same way flat trees are by the lighting

I must have wrote two pages and accidentally hit delete.

Here's why we are having issues with lighting, a picture's better than al ong post anyhow. The suns position is to the right in this picture, the terrain should be casting a shadow but is instead casting light.
