Thank you so much! I'm so glad you all like it so much. :) My aim was to create a 'racable', smooth track, and it seems to have turned out fine. :)

Track: The Speeding Dutchman

Hi everyone!

It must be something having to do with Christmas approaching, because it's always around this time I start thinking of making a new track.

I have been blind-staring on my new track, and I could therefore use fresh opinions by you! What do you think of the track? I don't mind ...

Thanks everyone for posting here. I've written my essay, which I'll submit to my teacher tomorrow. It was quite a challenge to write it, though.

If I had known what exactly Podzip does, I would have mentioned it in the readme.txt. Thanks for the info! I thought the program just compressed the .pod like a zipfile does. I also used podzip for Whynni's Ride.

I wonder if Slayer is in a band, or hopes to make a cd one day ?

Good point! If so, I guess the genre of "protest songs" fits him best. :)

To me, Slayer, it looks as if you're bouncing in many directions to make your point. We know your opinion. It is not nessesary to use so much useless space in your posts to convince us. Swearing doesn't help either or any other possible device you'd like to use to draw attention to your thoughts ...

Strange that your computer suddenly acts this way. It almost sounds as if there's a virus on your computer. I can't think of much else that can make your computer dual bootable.

I found this (taken from here :

Wow, I'd better turn on the airco in this thread!!

the thing i like about downloading is say there is only ONE song you like on an album

I agree, g8torsbizktai20! I don't necesarrily need a whole album of an artist. Sometimes, that one song is good, but the rest is crap to fill the empty ...

A church has less problems missing something then a chapel

What's that in Dutch? I've tried to translate it, but it doesn't sound like a familiar saying. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Or is it a French saying (not sure if you're a French or a Dutch speaking Belg)?

Phin made a great point ...

I think it's less bad if old games are downloaded than new games, because companies have usually made enough profit when games are old. And indeed, old games are hard to buy.

There's an obvious difference between downloading music and games. That's why I decided to focus on one of the two: music ...

So instead of throwing out a topic and asking to make an argument for one case or the other, they told you exactely which one you had to take a stand for?

LOL No, not exactly. This was my own topic, but I'm not sure what I think of it myself. I download a lot of music, so it would be convenient ...

About downloading music

Hi everyone!

This has nothing to do with MTM2, but I guess that's allowed in the General Discussion forum, otherwise it's not "general," right?

Anyway, I have to write an argumentative essay for my study English Language and Culture , for which I have the following thesis statement ...

Yes, people can receive hugs for testing.

The collision properties for the gazebo and water well by checkpoint 3 are slightly off.
Actually, I did not intend those to be movable. I made the gazebo non-collide and added object boxes so you can ride along it more closely.

I just tried to ...

That's strange. The little one had lower mass than the big one. I'm not sure what you mean with that "it's slightly off." Do you want it to be movable?

Thank you! I received some last feedback from Wint , so I'd like to update both tracks to improve them. I can't do that until next week (because I'm at my parents' house this week), but I'll definitely release the final versions next week (including readme's).

Thanks very much to everyone who ...

Sorry for the double post, but I doubt other will notice this otherwise. Here's an updated version of Whynni's Ride : [ download me ].

For some reason, the link to my track stopped working for a moment. Maybe the university I go to doesn't like un-academical things on my webspace there. But it seems to work now again.

Anyway, I uploaded a new version [ download it here ] with:

Wow, thanks very much for your comments!

I thought the music wasn't very loud, but I recently discovered that the sound volume in the game was very low on my comp. I'm definitely going to fix that to keep people's ears intact.

Phin, "Whynni's Ride" can be called finished. The last time I ...
