Truck Replica Request. :D

Post by WorpeX »

Bounty Hunter - Red

Although the truck is really old, I think that this is probly one of coolest trucks that hasn't been made yet. I dont know if its the bounty hunters first design or not (around in '93 and '94). Dont have any special request on the designer, but I'd love to see Rep-Fan doing it. I love his trucks, especially Star Monster. [:-)]

Specs:

-1979 Chevy Shortbed pick-up truck
-Chevy 350 engine
-25- by 30-inch wheels / 66 by 43- by 25 inch tires
-Eleven Feet tall - Eleven feet wide - 13,000 pounds
-Porsche Red

I'd be happy to make it, if you can come up with some more shots of it. A shot of the hood and tailgate and grille and I can do it.

Thanks for the compliments.

Nevermind, Taft has a ton of pics of it, I'll get started on it soon. I forgot all about that truck, so I never built it, but thanks for the heads up.

Good stuff that was on TV in 1991 that I remembered to tape. O.o Only bad part about it is that First Blood seems to win all of the events.

Oh c'mon now kids, we all know that USA-1 rules... say it doesn't... I dare ya... [:P]

I'm working on the body for BH right now... welll... its red anyway. Cale, buddy ol pal, I may have to hire you to "tweak" the side logos for me so they look nice, I can handle the rest.

I look forward to making this truck, just purely on the wheels alone, cuz its different, I can't believe I forgot about this truck, totally my bad.

Gimme a few days and I'll have er out for ya. Just a simple repaint of my Clydesdale truck, and some paint work, should be easy, I have that Chevy body made in so many versions, it won't take me long.

Hey SP!

the wheels are actually spoke wheels for a regular truck, made into MT sized wheels, very cool, I like em, and that's what your truck is gonna have on it.

That's why I'm me... I notice the tiny details. that sounded arrogant... what a butt-head.

Bad news...

Yesterday, I was editting some pics for my site, and all of a sudden, my pc mouse pointer disappeared, and my mouse went dead, and it looked like someone just took away my graphics drivers, and my screen went to 16 bit colors.

So with no mouse, I couldnt run any programs to burn a backup cd of anything, namely my MTM2 folders, and I lost all my projects, which was about 4 new trucks. One of them, was Bounty Hunter, which was about 80% done.

Not a big deal, I'm upset about it, but I just have to start all over again, so there will be an even longer delay on getting it done. Sorry about that, but it was beyond my control. I already started on a new body, so we'll see what I can do.
