Please help me!
Please help me!
Hello, as you can see I am new to this forum and I love this game a lot, but I have a problem.
This message pops up when I try to load the game.
CRace::init- Unable to open SIT file.
File- D:\METAL\CRUSH2\core\RACE.CPP
Line- 243
If it helps here is all the pods in my pod.ini
!321.pod (a bunch of downloaded tracks combined using PodMate)
COCKPIT.POD
CRAZR8.POD (just in case I need it for official tracks)
FIXALL.POD
FIXMORE4.POD
GAME.POD
Music.POD
Sound.POD
STARTUP.POD
TRUCK2.POD
ui.pod
Tracks\WAKEUP.POD (just in case I need it for downloaded tracks)
Please help! [uhoh]

Sound.POD
STARTUP.POD
ui.pod
GAME.POD

According to MTMG, you have a corrupted POD file. Don't forget that you can only mount up to 99 pods and SIT files (tracks)

If you go to the main page for this site, at the top right-hand hand corner you will see "patch". Click on this to download it. Then just double-click and follow the instructions.Vexus wrote:I was reading trough the errors and it said something about a 'patch' that will let you have 99 pods.
What is the patch?
Once installed you can have 99 pods, and it also fixes some bugs for online play (I think).

What "version" of the game do you have?
Did you finally get the patch to install?
What pod files came with the installation?
What pod files are you trying to add?
Where are you playing?
What operating system are you using?
Does the truck spaz out on all tracks or only some of them, which ones?
You see, you really haven't told us very much.

Oh, I got all that patch and pod file stuff taken care of. Everything works fine now. (cept for a couple corrupted tracks I had to get rid of.)
Only my truck (Grave Digger, who I use all the time) spazzes out. I also noticed it seems to happen when my truck is touching the other trucks when we 'appear' in midair.
Sorry, I have another problem. It is not that big of a deal, but it is kind of irritating. Everything near the bottom of my screen when I am racing 'stretches out' if that makes sense.
