Tonight's Race 'n Rumble Tournament was run on "Bolton Hill" by SMP_Creations.

We had Four teams tonight.
MTF_Deadpool/SLO_Bro HVR_Yomega/OLD_Jammer SLO_Scatter/SLO_HotShoe MOD_BC/SlowPokeski

HVR_Yomega and I teamed up again, and unfortunately for us, on round # 1 checkpoint # 4 did not trip for Yomega, so we took a loss that round. But we came back to get a 2nd place, a 1st place, and another 1st place.

Great racing Yomega! It's a real pleasure to block for you.

Oh my gosh, what an awesome Race 'n Rumble tournament tonight. The track was "Pepsi 500" by NKAc_Duuks.

Round 1 was a close finish between HVR_Yomega, FIRE_Pickle, and SLO_CLC. CLC was behind by many truck lengths but managed to work his way back into the pack of 3 racers going for the finish line. Yomega barely edged out in front of Pickle in round 1.

Round 3 we get matched up with Pickle again, and this time I was sitting alone at the finish line. My position made Pickle have to swirve just a little bit to avoid me, and that was just enough to get Yomega a space cushion to win the 3rd round. lol. Talk about close finishes.

So the final round gets going, and it was a traffic jam at the finish line with all the blockers competing for the spot to give their racer the advantage. Turns out MOD_BC gave his partner, Pickle, a nice lag boost thru the finish line just ahead of Yomega!! Talk about luck. Good win to those guys.

Tonight's Race 'n Rumble tourney track was "ZO Get Psycho" by World.
This one is in the SLO RNR tracklist and is very fun once you are familiar with the flow of the track.

Fairly wide road, wide checkpoints, so there's room for the racers to slip past the blockers if caught off-guard.

Tonight's Race 'n Rumble tourney track was "ZO Breaks Necks v2" by World. We only had 4 teams, so we just ran 4 games of 8 players.
Got pretty crazy at times, but that's how we like it in Race n Rumble.

That was a great RnR, and not just because PaPa & I won, but because of how crazy it would get when everyone was all bunched up. You could literally live or die by the lag shot. I know some people get mad when they get lagged, but heck, that's part of the fun of it. :)

I was in too big of a hurry to leave lastnight to notice that when BD posted the winners banner it said Zo Get Psycho instead of ZO Breaksnecks, no biggie though. Just an observation.

Hehe, sorry Cope, but PaPa needed a partner and I also needed a partner. So I filled in for you since you wasn't there. [nyuk]

Wow, what a fun night of Race 'n Rumble. The track was "SBM Speedway SE".
It's a small Nascar-type track with no collision boxes except for the small checkpoint markers.
So the blockers have free roam.

The first 3 rounds went along and there was a 3-way tie... That put myself and OLD_NICKatNITE in last place.
Several racers asked the host if we could do a Winner Takes ALL (meaning all 4 teams compete).
He said that was fine, so all 8 of us went at it.

Another great RnR tourney, although when I found out what the track was, I thought it wouldn't be very good. Brother, was I wrong. It was even better when all 4 teams competed in Round 4. Unfortunately, PaPa was having issues with his game and kept seeing people unknown or not there at all. So SLO_HotShoe filled in for the final round, and he did magnificent.

Great job guys! [tu]

After a brief break for a few weeks, the Race 'n Rumble tournaments have
begun again in full force!! Tonight we had a big squared figure-8 type track called
"Race & Rumble" by MTHc_roc0.

Here is a helicopter view of the track --

Tonight's Race 'n Rumble tournament was a blast at Renaissance Games Online.
The tourney track was "Ramparoony!", by EmceeMart.

We had three teams:
SLO_Scatter & OLD_NICKatNITE
MOD_VS & MOD_BC
OLD_Yomega & OLD_Jammer

After round 3, each team had 1 win, but Scatter and Onan had first place.
It was sudden death for the other two teams, and what a match it was. There was a lot
of rumble-blocking going on, and even the racers hitting each other to gain an edge.
But in the end, the placings were listed above. Very fun and thanks for hosting guys.
