LOL.

Wished Microsoft shouldn't end Windows 10's support for Windows 11 because nobody asked for that crap newest OS anyway. Windows 11 kills off some of older games like MTM2.

It works, finally. Also the red Snake Bite truck looks sick.

BTW do you take requests or suggestions, Cale?

No, I do these for my own edification. The red Snake Bite is a few years old already at this point.

It launches but doesn't appear - shows up in Alt-Tab but can't switch to it.

Cale cooks once again!!!

Although, how come the Red Snake Bite hasn't made the pod, unless it's going to be a standalone release yeah?

Also, I was expecting to see some other trucks get graphical overhauls too, Power Wheels, Overkill, Carolina Crusher (two sides of the truck don't match with each other on the TRI paint), Samson, Boogey Van, maybe Bear Foot and Rampage to have white wheels with red and black center caps.

These are essesntially the critiques I have, but I'm loving with what you have done. TRI really could've had you on the art team back then.

Funny enough, I made a post in regards on how to get MTM2 working on Windows 11 becasue of how botched the default installer is on newer OS. http://forum.mtm2.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7473

I'd figure at some stage the current source code would have to be updated to comply with newer OS standards, but only time will tell if we ever get to that stage, nearly 8 years have past since anything new was done for MTM2's source code, meanwhile I'm still hanging around here till I'm basically an old man with a walking stick, lol!

No, the trucks I have fixed are the ones I am going to fix. For Power Wheels, Overkill, Samson, and BV, I couldn't really do any better than TRI did, they always looked fine to me. The Crusher thing is something I somehow never noticed, and it would be an easy fix, but I also kind of find it hilarious to the point of not wanting to change it. I was never trying to completely redo the entire roster like I did with MTM2, I was just trying to fix some of the stuff I found egregious and adjust the rest to my personal tastes. I actually love MTM1's Deluxe Paint/Descent aesthetic and don't really want to mess with it too much.

I'm working on a bit of a "Bigfoot Pack" which will include the red SB as well as Bigfoot Cruiser and a Racer, which covers all the active Bigfoot schemes from 1995 (Cruiser actually ran with Deflecta-Shield accessories that year, without the "Cruiser" moniker, just as Bigfoot). I got the motivation to fix the logo so it's just a matter of KC lights now. The one other truck I'd kind of like to add is Taurus, which, if it's 1995 I'm working off of, is more doable now. The 1996 truck is poorly documented and way more complex a design, but I haven't made a decision either way yet.

My next goal is cloning and retexturing the drags to add some to the game, should be easy.

I see.

I figured considering with what you have done with MTM2's roster, you probably would've done the same for MTM1, which is what I was kinda expecting in the first place, but I guess the quote on quote "Deluxe Paint/Descent aesthetic" has to be maintained in some fashion somehow, no complaints.

Now as for Drags, I'd take it that we could potentially see other PENDA series tracks like Allen, Bloomsburg, Canfield, Ozark (good luck finding high res photo references of Ozark's old NASCAR oval track which no longer exists, they are quite a rarity to find on Google) which were part of the 1995 and 96 calender at the time of MTM1's release? Either way, I'm keen to see with what you come up with next.

Thanks, remove it now and I can upload it when I fix a few other things with it. Been busy with other stuff.

METALCR2.ACT doesn't really have the correct colors to do the metallic graphics on the 1993-1995 Taurus accurately, but I'm finding compromises and erring on the side of it being more colorful so it pops in game better. Wheels need some work and I need to do the proper shocks, but this is further along than I thought I'd be. I'd have done the 1996 truck but documentation is fairly weak on it and it feels awfully complex for what I'm trying to do. Most people know this one better, anyhow.

There was also a extra "hidden" truck in MTM that was called Patriot (http://www.mtm2.com/MTM2/Trucks/P1997/m ... tbytri.jpg), maybe you could include that with the new tire treads? Also it shouldn't be that much of a problem coverting those trucks to MTM2 as seeing how that was done with the original stock trucks already; everything was kept all they needed to do was allow crash damage and headlights.
