Please Take A Look @ My Final Topic Ever - I've Found A Bett

Post by XZ SIG »

I'm not doing MTM trucks, tracks or even playing it anymore as i've found a new game- it has nearly all the things mentioned in THIS POST including the whole front crumpling, wheels ripped off and AN EASY TO USE IN-BUILT LEVEL MAKER. There are off roaders for 4X4evolution fans, pickups, beetles, rally cars, quadbikes, and english, american and behemoth trucks! There's also police cars, sports cars and loads of others!
There are MASSES of levels including England, France, Ireland, Germany, Australia, a load of USA states and just about every other place on earth (and even the moon!) you could think of.
The graphics are amazing (makes MTM textures look like blurred pixelated rubbish) there are sheep and buffalo which run around and ram the vehicles and NO BOXES AROUND OBJECTS! There is very realistic tyre tracks and smoke and singular blades of grass fly up from your wheels. The damage is in tune with how hard you hit something and what it is (a beetle hits a house at 80mph- the front wheels may come off if its at an angle and the front end is flattened from 4 ft to about 2 inches but if a giant tanker hits over a telephone pole then it's only going to dent it a little) and if you fall over then you get muddy. If you go underwater your vehicle is flooded and won't work. Unlike MTM2 you can not drive along on an 89* slope and not roll.
The game modes include race (!), get the flag (find it and run from everyone), return the flag (find the flag and drive to a drop off point), jamboree (go through gates before the opposition), destruction zone (hit the other drivers for points and try to get to the ZONE to get more points kinda like Rumbles), and a few others.
Inside or on each vehicle is a driver who can move and lean and bounce about if you crash.
From the snowy mountains of Wales and Switzerland to the dusty outback of Oz, this game rules, the graphics are the best i've seen, the models are smoothed of nicely, the ground isn't blurred like MTM and it's so high resolution it doesn't need to be. There is a championship mode and online facilities and you earn tracks and vehicles.
MTM2 is unplayable after 1 go on this so if a friend gets it and you have a go, wear a blindfold (and earmuffs as the sound outdoes MTM in every way).
Hope i've enlightened you on my last topic ever and this will be the only post i will look at again apart from extreme cases (death threats etc...)

Goodbye

Why the sad <IMG SRC="http://mtm2.com/~forum/pages/icons/icon9.gif" border=0> face? If it's as good as you describe, then you should be celebrating.

Small request. Can you make a web page that shows screen shots with each of the features you describe? It will be interesting to see.

the community is growing but @ the moment its not so big

1nsane is a cool game but nuttin is getting me away from mtm2 lol, 4x4,nfs,1nsane,mm2,mm1,mcm1,mcm2, i got all of em but mtm2 is still my fav

The multiplayer in mtm2 is better then in Insane.
If i know correctly, u also cannot add trucks/tracks in insane which would be a minus for multiplayer (let's not say offline). MTM2 for me it's more fun online then Insane and 4x4 Evolution. It has a magic touch.

yep, right on the mark there =)

1nsane is a cool 1 player game and lotsa potential for editing, but mtm2 online (racing and rumbling) just is alot more fun, i dont know why so dont ask Image

Well the Destruction Zone is multiplayer with the PC which is nearly as intelligent as people so i don't need online play as much as MTM but i like to play multiplayer with people on the PC next to me so i can shout at the opposition and beat 'em up!
Most of the tracks i use are mine or original on MTM so i guess it's the same on 1nsane (but i will miss the VERY good tracks made by ZooN and other masters of MTM track make
ing). The only bad thing is NO custom models in the editor so a big RESTRICTION- no shrinkin' trux and cars for me anymore (oh btw i still play 2 mtm tracks 'cos they don't show up the baad grafix or bblluurreedd ground- BIGworld 2 + ZooN Kitchen- both tiny truck onez).
