Okay, I'm not a bean counter, really I'm not, but you'd think for a game going on seven or eight years old, or whatever it is, and with MS feeling it's no longer worth supporting, and that you can't buy it retail anymore, and then you toss in a couple server changes, and a crash, and some web attacks, and probably several other deterents I can't even think of off the top, you'd think after all that, that the numbers would begin dropping off at some point, would you not? Welp, not so. If anything, the latest rounds of adversity seem to have renewed and strengthened interest in our game, and web traffic has never been higher than it has been for this month and the first six weeks on the rebuilt server. Now check this, traffic has increased by nearly four hundred percent above the past year's average... and one thousand percent above the first year on the rhino server.
For those no accustomed to reading bytes, that's 133 gigabytes in january and 163 gigabytes over all in the past six weeks. That does not include dos attack transfer, and it does not include anonymous ftp.
