"Classified Section"

Post by Mat-Allum »

What would you do if you saw this newspaper clipping:

-----------------------------------------------------
For sale: Realistic high-vertex truck body.
Very good condition. Sell price $5700.
Contact MatAllum with PM or mail.
-----------------------------------------------------

Would you contact him?

Yes, I am working on a high-detail vehicle body. I plan the following realistic things:

-Very rounded sides, like modern trucks.
-Custom rollbar and fog lights, as a 4x4
-Rounded area between interior and exterior (how do I explain it?)
-Short steps at the bottom (it'll be high up, ya know...)
-Detailed engine compartment with a Cobra under the hood
-Fully modeled back box
-Wires running from the battery to the lights, etc.
-Visible horn (!)
-Detailed interior
-And so on
-And so on
-And on and on

So what do you think?

I say "good luck" to you making such a truck while keeping the vertix count down to a level that MTM2 will be happy with...I DEFINITELY would recommend keeping it below 3000 vertices for the entire truck, and significantly lower than that would be even better.

Did you finish the other truck yet?

I'm really sorry about the time thing. Let me explain...

I only have Internet access (as well as access to the Monster Truck Hoozit inside files) on Thursdays, though sometimes on other days as well. Because I can't access the Internet at home.

Since no one replied to my C-POD post, I could not pod the truck and zip it up...

...so I made everyone mad.
