Dragger or Circuit/Rally Racer?
Are you a dragger or a circuit/rally racer? Seriously, I am a dragger but I love driving on the circuit/rally tracks, especially Crazy 98. But I prefer the challenge of online drag racing.
Mud bog mania!
Hi Dix,
I don't run in leagues or in race tourneys. Got my hands full just with things around here. I think traditionally I've leaned toward the rallies, but the expo '03 gave me a new appreciation for the drags too... so much so, I've been helping JB and METH with their stuff ...and you never know what releases the future has in store from me ;-)
PS. Sorry to hear the news. I hope all is well at home.

I like MTM2 as a whole. Drags, circuits, rallies, rumbles, free roam...it's all good, it's all fun.

LOL Robby. Must've had a bad case of "happy fingers".
I'm a racer at heart - circuits & rallies, but I also like to rumble. It took me a while to develop an appreciation for rumbling, as well as understand that there is skill involved; it's not just about bashing into the other truck hoping that it flies off from a lag kick. Well, on a few rumbles that's about all it amounts to lol...like the bowl rumbles for example. But overall there are definite tricks to the trade.
As for drags/freestyles, they don't appeal to me personally, but I definitely respect the fact that to some they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. On the flip side, I have to admit, I had a good time during the testing/evaluating stage during the 03 Expo when we covered the drags. That was the first time I'd ever tried them.
Like Robby though, I too love the game itself. I may not participate in every format MTM 2 has to offer, but that's just a matter of personal preference. In fact, one of the greatest things about MTM 2 in my opinion is the variety this game has to offer.
Ok I'm done now lol.

I like races first, and rumbles second. I always liked playing "king of the hill" as a kid, and rumbles are a great event when you have a team who loves to rumble with you (as I do with the Zone Outkasts).
I suppose I would have liked drags in MTM2 if it had been written to support them properly. but with no proper timing lights for starts or finish line gates, it just doesn't appeal to me in this game.
Note that i LOVE drag racing...Just not in MTM2.
