Custom made tracks?

Post by STLMonsterfan05 »

Is there a way to get rid of some of the annoying sounds in the background on a custom track?? Also I put World Finals 4 in the game, and then I tried to put World Finals 5 into the game, and it showed that WF4 was in there twice, how do I change that?

CTRL + M will get rid of most sounds.

You can also adjust the sound balance in sound options.

For the rest, the sounds in a track cannot be removed. They are put there by the maker.

Do you have any particular sounds in mind?

That is a track name conflict. It's up to the maker to avoid that problem, but sadly not enough people pay attention to it when they make their track. About all you can do is don't mount them at the same time.

On the WF tracks, there is a train in the background, that is just annoying, and on the EC Civic Center, there is like a ancient bird sound..I have no idea why someone would want to put these into the tracks.

Put this at the top of the pod.ini file. That'll take care of a lot of problems.

There's a curent topic thread in the General Discussion room about that very subject. it applies to drag tracks like WF3, since most circuit tracks are computer racable.

There are NO settings to make comp trucks race you. Find the ones that do. You can make DRAG tracks that will race you. As far as EDITING tracks, some may frown on you messing with their work.
Traxx is what I use to make tracks with. Link below
